In commercial diving, I've seen folks make their own speakers for use in
their band masks, wouldn't be hard to emulate, seal some plastic
headphones(all the walkman headphones I've seen have a plastic diaphragm)
with neoprene cement, attach to pockets sewn into your hood and voila! Next
find a small mp3 player and put it in an underwater flashlight housing.
drill a small hole for the headphone cable and seal with plenty of silicon.
(I used a similar setup with a tape player and it worked fine except when I
was supposed to be listening to the dive supe. )CaptNemo
